An extra layer of strapping around the stitches for a few weeks and he'll feel good to go, I'd want the all clear from the medical team, which I'm sure goes for Richard too.
I wouldn't have thought he'd have been playing this Friday either, so 20 mins against Batley might be the most realistic.
We do need more props though. Time to open the wallet Andrew and sign up Dowes. Has Rob Parker signed for anyone? No Shane Tronc, but on a match to match (until we find someone better)???
Until then I think Trouty could spell at prop, certainly big enough & showed a lot of enthusiasm on Boxing day. |

We don't want dowes or parker. May aswell keep our money. They will not improve us one bit. We have smaller forwards but quiker forwards we need to play a fast game next year and use our mobility. If someone better than those 2 came along then we could go for it but those 2 wont improve us.

Parker has signed for Leigh. And a quote on the Hull forum states - 'Looks like Dowes is waiting to go to arizona to do an Athlete's Performance internship.Good luck to him in a new career phase.' |

If lighter, more mobile props are the order of the day and we do need someone to step in, I'd be tempted to look to Big Frankie; at 6ft 2 and 17 stone, he's almost exactly the same height and weight as Wilkes and Amor and is bigger than Johnson. Going on last season's performances, he's also hard as nails.
