Over the moon on this being confimred, My dad is life long Batley fan ( im a wakey fan through my grandad) and love going to the mount when we dont have a game, good ground and decent fans. The Slope is huge though if youve never been before.

Once Went To Mount Pleasant, Probably In The Early Nineties To Watch Batley Versus Rochdale Hornets, Bought A Programme,Opened It Only To Find Two Blank Pages Where The Teams Should Have Been. Great Adverisements Though!

No pubs or clubs immediately 'around' the ground fella, but we're not far away from the town centre. I'd suggest a visit to Batley NASH (Irish club) which is probably the best place to go for a drink, or Wetherspoons. Batley Working Mens is also en route to the ground if you're travelling from Wakefield on the train or by car. |
