| As the title suggests.
Suprised Wakey haven't confirmed his departure and thanked him for his services, or have they and I just missed it?

I know it sounds a bit harsh but having rescued his career twice and giving him a great living for many a season is that not thanks enough. I have no issues as such with Korkis career choices but he's hardly a JD or JT figure either. They haven't thanked anyone else who's gone, why is Korki any more worthy?

| Quite dissapointed thought he could do a decent job at prop where we are still lacking in size and brunt.
Done well for us as we have done well for him.
All the best Korki !

They have. The point is whatever people think of Korkis abilities he has been associated with the club for a long time and given more than just on the field.

Not with me he isn't and I doubt he "easily" is with others.
I wish him well but don't lament his moving on, he has had an up and mainly down career with us IMHO. I realise that may upset the Korki fan club but unfortunately we don't all think the same nor are we obliged to either. Thanks.

| Not this again, Wakefield did not release Korkidas, Huddersfield have decided not to offer him a new contract. He was never our player to release.

First of all the club should thanks ALL players that move on out of common decency, players who have all served our club.
And in this case Korki is part of the fittings at BV and as been for a long time, the people at this club should remember that goodwill and treating players with respect go around in our game and future players may not be recommened in future. You may know that some players we've signed in the past would never have come if not the "words" of former players.
How hard is it to write a thank you and post it on the website and what possible harm can it do.

| Been a good player for us, all the best to him. Wouldn't have been unhappy if he'd have stayed and we definately need one if not two more genuine props now.

54709_1307880116.jpg Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.
Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Do you actually watch rugby or just go for the pies and look distantly in sky as the games on? Because frankly I don't believe you know Jack Smith about RL and more specifically WTW.
Dowes is easily a better prop that MK & I've been a big fan of his over the years. Nobody can question his devotion or contribution over the past decade, but move on. ED at this moment is far more capable. If players never depreciated in ability with aged (with the exception of Steve Menzies) Mal Maninga would still be in the green and gold!
If stuck up for your before NGBFC but that really irritated me for some reason??

don't think dowesy will be coming to wakey. him and the coach get on like oil and water. think he may regret letting korki go because at the moment the front row looks rather laughable apart from one loan signing that can be recalled within 24 hrs notice
