| The club have only sold 1250 season tickets thus far but have now enabled supporters to split the £100 price over 2 months, £50 in September and £50 in October.

| Great idea but could have done with announcing it on Friday at game instead of now after season is finished.
Hope we are going to push this through some other form of advertising, Trinity Walk, the A-Frames used to advertise the games, the local Press, League Express, Boots'n'All

| I too am really hoping we reach the 2500 Mark. Surprised if we can't before Xmas time.
Really hope the people of Wakefield stand up for 2012. It's been tough but if we nail this target which I suspect will be a statement to rfl aswell then the club can look forward to a settled 2012.
Think most on here will have bought their tickets. Leaving the option of these on here to consider the offer as a Xmas present or expanding the offer beyond the club site and matchday.

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

Unfortunately the Wakefield public don't spend their time on here so you're message is lost.
I just hope the club haven't focused too much on this celebrate Wakefield event, sitting back and expecting the price to sell the season tickets alone. They really need a massive push now. The split cost is a great idea but they need to stick this offer under peoples noses.

You would think you would reach that number by christmas but the only problem is that you only have untill the end of this month for some reason. I think in all honesty you have done really well to sell 1200 as I think thats already about double what you sold for this season and who knows with some good advertiseing (maybee a TV add or two) you might get there, but it was always going to be a big ask for you to sell so many in little more than a month compared to what you have sold in the past over a full off season.

| Sensible enough post tigerman1 but at £100 and now the option to pay in two parts I believe the target is achievable however it will be touch and go whether we do. I think people would be mad not to take up the offer as it really is a bargain.

| I would hope the offer is extended for a further month to achieve. Gives people chance to get theif money sorted and have a good advertising push in schools, businesses, supermarkets and towncentre.
Other options as local rags, radio need to be explored too.
Glover is a businessman and he sells things. I'm sure there will be marketing strategies in place to boost the sales and would hope it starts soon.

Its going to have to be extended, it seems the hardcore have signed up and got a few extras, now comes the hard part and its not going to be easy to hit that figure, its a bit sad really.

I totally agree with you it is too good to miss and you would think with your crowds average being around the 6.5k mark (I think) 2500 STs at that price would be a doddle but as I posted on another thread and got shot down for it (maybe fairly, I dont know), how many of your supporters this year have been paying ones. Glover is no doubt doing his best for you to go forwards but its now up to the people of wakey to show if they want to pay to watch a SL team or they are not bothered.

it has been extended in effect. People have until October to settle the cost, rather than stumping up £100 this month.

| I'd say the vast majority were paying spectators. Prior to the cas game where you allege tickets were been bandied about the club shop had been broken in to. It's pretty feasible that a batch of season ticket booklets were taken during the break in.
