I don't think the players coming to the back end of there career at Hull should be our option for next year. Talk of Phelps coming we have 3 fullbacks hopefully tongia signing so Tony , Tongia and Smurph as cover Smurphs favourite position btw but i do agree him and mellers as centres next year. Dowes surely better options out there. Hull are 8th this year they can't be that good likes of Manu yes please lol. Not sure about Obst either to be honest we are better than cast offs.

Tony who you now love is the ultimate cast off, so why damn the others - do you ever learn. As for Manu, exactly what reason on this earth would Manu have to join us other than a pay deal he couldn't turn down and we could not afford. Get real pleaseeeeeeee.

By the way you and only you seem to believe FB is Murphy's favourite position. The rest of us including him know he is a centre, he always was a centre and he always will be - that is his best position. Making up bogus facts to support an argument you lost long ago is truly lame.

You have to remember where we are as a team. Second bottom! Not exactly an attractive proposition when it comes to negotiation time. We are also starting our recruitment later than most due to the uncertainty caused by the licensing. Would these 'cast-offs' as you call them improve our team? Is Obst better than Lee? Yes, thus we would improve. Must be better than Dowes out there? Go on then, who is available that we can afford? Dowes is a decent superleague standard prop who would do us a good job. We need to be realistic with our expectations, we aren't going to go from bottom to top in a season. Its about gradual improvement and building season on season and we ain't going to be buying the top players for a few years yet.

I think I can imagine just how David Walliams has been feeling this last week.

Some of the players that a lot of Hull fans want to hopefully see the back of are decent sl players but not players that will take a club with our ambition to the next level. I think we can be a top 4 side in the next 3 years with the new coaching staff and direction Pearson and McRae are bringing us. Players like Dowes, Obst, Washbrook, Lauaki, Burnett and Phelps are decent players but not good enough for Hull FC. They will improve your squad if Agar decides to bring them with him. I am not belittling your club in any way but I think with the recruits that I have mentioned are players that will get you out the scrap for the wooden spoon and hopefully get you guys battling for the play off's. I am not saying your signing these players at all but they are OOC (apart from Obst) at the KC and I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of them at the Wildcats.

We really need the quality halfback though. Unless agar plans to go with Obst-Moore in halfs. Which would be better than what we have at present.

We do need one or two quality players to add and sign Tongia. We'll be looking better for next year all being well.

Back-up players for us. Would be 1st team regulars for you guys. Decent players but we are not Wakefield, a team that has poor attendances, poor stadia and a team that is competing at the bottom of the SL table. FACT! We are a team with a Grade A license, decent attendances, great facilities. We have everything in the making to go forward and no we have a decent coach, unlike you. Diddums.

He is too much of a liability. He gives away to many penalties. Probably the same at Wigan. Ask any Hull FC fan about Lauaki and they will say the same. I do want to stress that the players mentioned are average SL players and our ambition and resources we have we shouldn't be an "average" club. They will be good for Wakefield because of your current situation with finances and current team. It would be great to see Wakefield show progress with a new stadium because I like generally like Wakefield and the fans, other than a few
