I wonder what JE and AG ideas are for the season tickets in 2012?

I don't know but if we want to be spending up to the full cap in the coming years then I'm sure the supporters are going to have to put their hands in their pockets as I can't see Glover funding it all himself. These deals that other clubs do are alright if you can afford to do them and if you get the take up from people who wouldn't normally buy a season ticket. The concern would be that we'd offer a deal and end up with roughly the same number of season ticket holders but with them paying a reduced rate. Look at the struggle they had shifting the silver memberships even when they were giving them away. I know the product will be better next year but there is little evidence to suggest that the Wakefield public will turn out even when the team is doing well. Hopefully there will be a deal and there will be a wave of enthuisiasm when the new coach is announced and more signings are made. The problem is that it's not about selling it to those who already go it's about selling it to the wider public.

Judging by the squad that's been announced it might be worth holding this announcement back - another demoralizing loss at the hands of our near rivals is not going to do anything for ticket sales.
