Morrison deserves a new deal . We have got hammered every game since he as been out. For a lot of the season this lad as been on his own a true leader helping to bring the youth through offering them direction litterally telling players what direction to run in. A 1 year deal should be given to Glen I think its just reward for the effort he as put in. We are all saying Ali Lautiti but players reversed he would not have put the effort Glen as put in this season no way. How many tackles???? 1 year= just reward !

Its not about rewarding players, his wage and adoration of fans is reward.

So let's give hendo a 5 year contract then ???

Morrison has done himself and Wakefield proud but whether he is in the clubs plans or club are in his plans remains to be seen.

With southern, wilkes coming in we have 2 senior heads coming in and the signings are balancing out the experience well for 2012.

Wait and see, but its the clubs decision and they and new coach need to assess if or where Morrison fits into plans.

Am I the only one who wouldn't be that bothered if he didnt stay on next year? Been very good for us in the past but I think a few get carried away about how good he could potentially be for us in the futire. This years JD for me.

I would keep him instead of signing someone like Ali, if Glens times up then fine but i hope we don't swap a mature player for another mature player.

Not buying it, Glen has been good but had a few average games too this year amongst others. Started off very well in form, like others dropped off a little towards back end. Im not into sensitivity, he's done well and if we were to re-sign him I would not be disappointed and would support. Would just hope he could rehashed his early season form from this year. As he is gettin older that will become increasingly difficult.

As for wilkes compared to morro... 2 different positions with different requirements.

This was discussed in the Supporters' Trust meeting and he's apparently looking at progressing his coaching career further so if there aren't the opportunities with the new coach he may want to move elsewhere.

The story I heard was a number of players had signed for other teams next year, Morro to crusaders was one if them.
The only player to discuss it first with the club was Rinaldi, hats off to him, all the rest can quite happily go for me.

There is no doubt that Morro has, for most of the season, been a great captain and one of the stand-out performers in a crap team; he's earned his corn and hopefully gained some valuable experience.

Sentimentality has no place in the planning process for the coming three years however - if he doesn't fit, he doesn't fit and he should move on to the next stage of his career with the respect and gratitude of everyone at the club.
