I agree - I think people get fooled by him because he's the proverbial 'big unit' and [ilooks[/i like he should be a good prop; in reality, he rarely runs his weight, spends too much time with his hands on his hips and appears ill-disciplined - he'll be in good company at the Whinos with Ian Kirke, who is very similar. |

Agreed think he is a cracking Prop would have been an excellent replacement for Coley at Wigan.
If you look at his stats in a far less dominant team than Wire against Carvell who has been getting some rave reviews they stack up fairly impressively.

I think he would do OK at Wigan in that system but that hardly makes him a cracking prop. He is a good squad player which I'm not knocking but he isn't cracking, come off it.
However it was the odious bit that got me, I really don't get it other than a somewhat odious hate campaign run by certain posters on here I can't see why he would be described that way. As for your last comment I suspect you're not as well informed as you like to make out, he was quite popular amongst his team mates whilst at Trinity from what I'm told. Shouldn't take what's posted on here as gospel if I were you. |

Fair enough, personally I think the way he behaved towards the fans towards the end of his tenure with us, his attitude and indeed his whole aura was odious.
However, I don't think anyone can deny that when he is in form (which is a reasonable amount of the time) he is a cracking player, he's been one of the main factors behind Huddersfield's in recent years. |

I was present at some of those 'moments'. and to be frank... I would have responded to the stuff that was being thrown at the players..the behaviuour was un-acceptable (including that of the fans) but no way near [iodious[/i! |
