Its very rare but the two young flag flyers seemed to do the job and do it well especially the tall guy...If the game had been close lol these lads would have made a better and fair game of it.
I can only vouch for the decisions they made when they were close to me.

Yeah, the tall skinny lad seems to have the plums to make decisions unlike that old fella who usually ends up running the line ! Finnally a Touch Judge who does his job. He probably still missed a few calls but at least he acted on some decisions.

Seemed confident in their ability to correct a wrong decision, notably the Saints knock on from a kick into the corner in the first half. Having said that the touch judge who was running the line in front of the Western Terrace side missed a blatant knock on (as did Ganson who was much closer) from Korkidas in the first half.

Saints scored in the corner and he then put his flag up, shocking call from the young lad.

Dont think i saw that one. Generally everytime he's been at belle vue I thought he's been ok !

Yep, forgot about that too. To be fair he probably thought it inconceivable that there was a scoring opportunity present considering the cover Trinity had. Not sure who took the flag out but it was a Wakefield player.

Second half in the old screen corner, a lot o wakey made comment on it.

Anyway other than that he seemed ok and its not easy for them.

Ah yeah, I was at the opposite side of the ground so didn't really see it.

Still think they were better than the usual flag flyers...Its not a job I would want...though Trinity would benefit if I did:}
