I had almost forgotten that Rugby League is played on the field

they have some injuries in pretty much every area of their squad, plus players who will either miss out becasue of tomorrow night's game (rested or injured) so if our heads are in the right place and we find even a glimmer of creativity in the halves then we have a decent enough chance.

it'd be good if a certain loyal wakefield centre were to show huddersfield just what they missed out on when he resisted their callous raid.

It would also be good if a couple of players they let go went back and proved them wrong!!

I would be happy if we put up a fight rather than the usual roll over and die that happens normally when we play Huddersfield.

Don't care. As James Elston said last night, it doesn't matter what happens on the field. Makes no difference how many games we win, rugby league is all about what your stadium looks like and how big you mailing list is. Something wrong there isn't there?

Tell him hes missing out on a point for average finishes and im presume the better your doing, the better your gates will become and the financial gain you'll make, not that it matters according to James

I remember when you got to the Semi the other year, the place was buzzing, now does on field performances really not matter?

10 years ago I'd have gone to this exiles game, I'd have done anything to push the game. Even now I think it's one of the better ideas.

Am I going, no way I'd rather stop at home and chew my own arm off than give my hard earned to the game I once loved. Don't do Internationals, Representative or even away games now. Maybe I'm petulant, maybe the game can do without the support of fans like me - I know my place in the modern game - I support the wrong kind of club, one in which on field heroics and the ability to find talent where there is none counts for nothing.

As John Harbin said, Wakefield are a mongrel club and there's no catagory for us in the Crufts SL.

So you didnt financially gain on the back of a good cup run and for a while have that feel good factor about the place which in turn has people dipping in their pockets a little bit more.

The bogs bit is a bit poor from you Vasty, last time i looked there was numerous boxes to tick, i'll grant you its a big box but all the others help to the final goal, as proven by you striving with the lottery, another one to tick.

Just to give you a little hope, I heard a strong rumour a couple of weeks ago that there could well be 15 SL clubs for the next 3 years. It came from 2 respected people with their ears to the ground. However, it is still only something I heard from someone who heard....

It's a serious comment, by the way, not a wind up.

Many of us have heard the same from people in and around the game, however until it is announced, where still clutching at straws.
Evenings like yesterdays are in my opinion a slow hammering in of nails into the RFLs "relegate Wakefield coffin", the more we can do to put pressure on the RFLs justification, the harder we make their job, and the closer to a 15 team SL we get.
