| I understand that they won last night, anyone got any views on individual performances?
Re the first team and JK's reference to the younger players and their recent performances ie 'hitting the wall', I wouldn't be suprised to see Tony and Smith in the first team squad next week.
What is the situation regarding our 2 loan players, Amor and McCarthy, are they still on month to month and if so when does their term expire?

| Reserves played really well. Think it finished 18 - 38. Motu Tony had a good game. Looked like he was back to his old self, making some very good runs from fb. Certainly couldn't complain at him getting a shot in the first team after there performance. Hyde and Wildie linked up well and created plenty of space for other to play into.

| The reserves play open, attacking, flowing rugby league. With a game plan that works. Runners and dummy runners coming from deep. No flat attacking line allowing more time for players to read the game. They also try to get the ball out wide to the fast men ( I think I could play on the wing for the first team ).
Iv'e said before. we don't have the best squad of players by a long way. But that's not an excuse for the first team to have no game plan( or so it seems )and play the most dumb rugby league ever seen at BV. Now thats down to the coach. Good Bye Mr Kear.

I feel that it is also the responsibility of the players on the pitch, especially the more senior and experienced ones. For example in the recent cup game against Castleford, what could JK have done about the plays at the end of normal time and in 'golden point' time? The experienced players should have took control, but what we got in reality was the typical headless chicken scenario with anyone and everyone having a go - for me we need an organiser or two on the field, not necessarily a world beater, but one who would give the team shape and tell them what plays we are going to do etc. If this is the captain's role, then I feel that it is an area he is sadly lacking.

I agree with you there. My point was I believe the reserves are better coached than the first team. Maybe the club are missing something.

Agree with that point. It wouldn't do any of those lads any good to come into the first team under Kear as they would not be allowed to express themselves.
