| Just want to say it is a shame that more people are not supporting the cats bar, went down tonight hoping to watch a game on sky with like minded Rugby league fans, where were you all!!!! The staff are all friendly, the prices are competative. I just hope that tomorrow they get the support they deserve at the academy game and after the game.......the phrase that springs to mind is 'Use it or Loose it'.

the clubs fighting against local rival pubs where ever the supporters live, for me it would be a two mile trip to go which is pretty close, many others further afield
I personally take my lad training then come home to put my feet up to watch the match
I do hope it can entice a few more because they deserve it

| It's a nice idea but unless you live in the surrounding area you either have to drive and not drink or get taxis which makes it an expensive night out.

This, and what snowie said, are spot on. Taxis for me would be about £15-18 there and back, can't justify that with Sky at home.
Outside of matchdays, it was always going to be a tough sell to supporters, and no number of 'Starches' or whatever would change that thanks to its location. Odd they bought it in the first place when it's only really viable for a handful of days outside the 14 or so game days.

| I do not think we have many fans in the Belle Vue area, not many local walk up fans on match days and not many RL fans who would walk to Cats Bar to watch a TV game. So people have to drive which is not great. Imagine if our ground was in walking distance of Outwood, Stanley, Bottomboat etc say on Newmarket Lane, Then we would get 2000 walk ups on match days and a `Cats Bar ` showing a TV game would be packed.
Remember Star Search in Cats bar, again it was empty. So how to we get Belle Vue residents to use Cats Bar ?

| I went last week and it was dead, as soon as the Hull - Wakey DVD finished everyone headed to the exits!
I expected to see some of the management for the opening night but I didn't spot anyone.

| I'd suggest that as with the Hull FC v Wakefield rerun after the sky game, maybe the club should should show historical games, maybe invite some of the former players who played in those games and let them share their memories. Generally, your looking at the older generation who will use Cats and it would be a good way of remembering our history, those who played for us and making some cash!
PS It doesn't always have to be Wakefield games, maybe Great Britain or England.

| Went for the re-run of the Hull game to Cats. I have Sky at home and prefer it watch it there. Only fans who don't have sky will be going to Cats bar on a regular basis.

Was going to say the club would have to embrace the ethnic culture to attract the local residents..

Really good idea that, maybe showing some of the Challenge Cup wins or some classic matches like the million pound game v Cas. I think the thing is, as a pub, it won't do too well, when game aren't been played, but to put some kind of night on, will.

| Good idea that, a classic game before a game aswell perhaps to encourage pre match drinkers.

| Working in the community sector I know bangra nights, zumba nights are very popular with their respective ethnicities and other cultures also. It's the local area that needs to be targeted with these theme nights, food, dance instructors.
Also with these nights and days it would be an opportunity to link in with other services I.e - police, fireservice, council to get involved for their own aims of crime prevention, safety etc.
Also do the club rent out the rooms through week as a function venue?
I'm sure this would all be beneficial.
