| Next Thursday the Wildcats Community Team are going on the road to the home of the Oulton Raiders, to rally support for the new stadium at Junction 30. The Community Team will be there with Wildcats 1st Team stars Ben Jeffries, Matt Blaymire and our Captain Glenn Morrison to hopefully get as many signatures to the statement of support that the club has prepared. Chief Executive James Elston will be in attendance to answer any questions that local residents may have with regards the stadium plans, which will potentially be a new indoor training facility open for all age groups at Oulton Raiders. Being a former Raider himself, James Elston knows the benefits that a new indoor training facility would provide for the teams at Oulton:
“All clubs struggle to find adequate venues to train in the winter months, the plans for the stadium include a full size sports Barn which will be available to the Raiders as well as having a premier stadium on their doorstep.
I have Oulton to thank for starting my rugby league career and it will give me great pleasure to go back and offer these facilities to the Raiders”
The players, community team and James Elston will be at the Oulton Raiders home on Thursday 13th January from 6pm. Wildcats representative Rocky Whitehead will also be on hand to entertain the children with the help of Daddy Cool and the bar will be open!

That is the point it is open to ALL in Wakefield and also in areas of Leeds, such as Oulton. I think James and the team are taking this event to Oulton to show that it is a true community stadium and if clubs and groups in Leeds want to use the facilities as well as Wakefield people, teams and groups, they will be welcomed.

They have already been offered the opportunity to use Newmarket and it's facilities I understand... so yes! I don't the eventual operating company of the community trust would turn anybody down if time slots were available, even Cas... that would be daft!
Why are you worried about something?

| Castleford will be able to ski, surf, rock climb and just about any other type of physical activity you can imagine all within the boundaries of GH.
