| The club want us to part with our hard earned cash to buy season tickets when they have'nt even the decency to release the names of our new signings. We have released half a team with a reported more to go but still no new signings. why?

| Fan's have very different views on why they have not or are not buying their season ticket for next season but the reason I bought mine even before the end of the season was simple.
I am Wakefield born & bred and I will support Wakey no matter who is playing for them or which league they are playing in. I hope others do the same

| I have been quite vocal in the lack of recruitment and the pro's and cons of buying a season ticket for next season. I am sure the usual season ticket holders will or have renewed (with a few exceptions) for next season. I haven't and won't but not because of the current state of the club or lack of recruitment. I had one for last season but due to moving I lost money on it, so it is just not financially viable for me have one. If I still lived in the area or closer than I do I would most probably have one for next season. After all I am a Wakey lad.

| I've bought my season ticket. When the new signings are announced i'll probably be dubious and have hoped for more but so long as they give 100% i'll be happy.
Besides what else are we all going to do on a sunday afternoon? Love them or loath them they're representing Wakey

Nothing to do with decency on this occassion - more to do with getting priorities sorted so that we have a club to put players in to.
Each person will make their own mind up on buying their season tickets, but the more that do, the closer we get to ensuring the future of the club.

Thats fine as it goes. but dont you think that a few words from the club on the matter would go a long way towards the uncertaincy of it all and placate the fans who would like a few answers to the silence coming from the club. Some fans are quite happy to renew whatever the weather and others are waiting to see what happens because of their frustration at the lack of imformation coming from the club and also the inconsistencies from coach Kears statements regarding recruitment, and when all is said and done we as fans are the main sponsors of WTC and deserve better treatment, all of this on top of a very poor end to the season is there any wonder the moral amongst the fans is at rock bottom. The club would not dream of treating other sponsors the same. Call it decency politeness good PR or whatever but surely we deserve some sort of explanation, and that way we might just ensure our future a bit easier by getting the disgruntled fans back on side.

I have said in other threads that whilst I continue to support the club as much as I possibly can, I can agree that the PR could, and probably should, be a whole lot better than it is. All IMO of course.

| i will be getting a season ticket for the umpteenth year, but both my kids are not bothered and sadly i can't talk them round. A colleague at work whos son is on the scholarship scheme says it is going from bad to worse with them, we are struggling with coaches and everybody is fed up (his words not mine) Does anybody know if this is true?

But if the very future at the club is at stake as you imply TRB, why do the club not say so as it might prompt some who are non-committal on season tickets at present to buy one.
All we have had at present is Ted's Daughter telling us its nothing to worry about and not a threat to the existence of the club - either it is or it isn't - and the fans have a right to know

| Don't see why Wakefield should be in a rush, long time till you kick off again in March, be a true fan and put your money into the club.

when we go to car boots, we get there early to find a cheap bargain, but when you want a nice shirt for the weekend you dont rush but have a good look round the shops and take your time to pick the right one and dont buy the first one you see
patience everyone,

| Perhaps we are waiting until the season is over for our signings.
Halifax and Featherstone haven't finished their season yet
