Johnson has been released now and wont be doing the second year of his contract. Also heard he was unhappy at the club particually with the coaching ala mr tronc i believe. Intersting as he has been around a long time, so if it is the case then questions should be asked. In the last 12 months we have let go or lost stosic, tronc, peterson, brough, sculthorpe and now Johnson. at least four of that group did not gel with coaching staff, which i find interesting.

Not interesting when you examine each case.

Johnson - one year contract expired, if the BBC were right last year. Not renewed, and on this years form, rightly so.
Stosic - he went because of difficulties in securing a non-Aussie passport.
Tronc - bottom lip went out because he didn't get a horse-drawn carriage to take him to Asda, or whatever else the chump was moaning about
Peterson - injury prone
Brough - no problems with the coach. Just wanted more money than we could afford.
Sculthorpe - left because he bleated to the press after he was fined for breaching club discipline, a fine that another player took on the chin, even though he could probably afford it less. And hindsight shows that we got the best out of that.

all the players you mentiond with the exception of sculthorpe, their leaving had nothing to do with the coaching. as far as johnno was concerned , he was leaving at the end of the season anyway. think the club had other options . don't see any problem.

Good player in his day but way passed it now. Sad when a good players career comes to an end but we were stupid for taking him on when he was way passed his sell by date what a waste of money ! Your credibility was zero then you included Sculthorpe and Peterson at which point it dropped even further. Johnson signed a 1 year contract and will not be missed.
