Quote: Walrus "It's a joke IMO.
Here we are struggling to make ends meet by playing the rules.
A team of Aussies, coached by a premium coach (in terms of £), bankrolled by the rfl, change of location and already have debt issues apparently!
Yey, go crusaders! When does team mcdonalds join the franchise? They will clear up.
Its sport, but not as we know it.'"
Totally agree, watched last night open mouthed with the amount of plaudits being thrown their way, including a massive crowd on so many occasions I lost count. But it still didn't make those empty stands look populated did it !
Also on top of the issues already mentioned there's the premium coaching team of Sharp and Harris as well.It looks to me that the RFL is going to do it's best to keep Harris in employment in SL.
They have got to go.Also legally the RFL is standing on thin ice with it's franchising if the Crusaders take precedent over Wakey or Cas. It could very well become a constraints on trade issue.
