On good authority the 1st signing for next season will be Danny Orr.

I don't normally post things unless theres any truth in the rumour but apparently he's got several offers on the table for next season but only 1 from a Yorkshire based club where he now wants to be based (Wakefield) with the others all not being within range of his family.

Wait and see whether this comes to light in the coming weeks/months.

Waterford crystal himself... will probably spend more time on the injury list that Ben Jeffries has this season.

Cas seem very confident that Danny Orr has signed for them on a two year deal. Deal done some time ago after Danny Orr informed Quins that he wanted to return home.

Can't see him choosing us over Cas but I'd be happy if we got him.

At 32 he is probably past his best but I appreciate what TRB has been saying and until we know what is happening franchise wise we can't offer long term deals anyway so have to cut our cloth accordingly.

Cas may have similar problems. I don't think he'll be coming here, but I do think he could do a job for us.

Ah well it's something I suppose. Hopefully he will improve on the last time he was here. He seemed to go OK at Harlequins and Catalans in SL.

don't want to shoot this down in a ball of flames but pace is the thing we lack, something to confuse a defence, someone to create. I'm pretty sure Rinaldi is as static as the rest. On the other hand, he can't be any worse than the dross I've seen served up this season.

Are we actually going to play him this time around.

Last I heard Orr was nailed on for Cas, do not think that has changed.

He is a good little player though and would certainly add some desire and grit to any team who signs him next year.

If we do sign Rinaldi, we have to give him some game time. He looked ok at Quins and at least we would have people in their natural positions. We dont have a lot of money and have to accept we can not attract the star names.
