Have to say that I was dissappointed at the attendance for yesterdays game particularly as Wigan brought plenty. With the marketing the club has done and the half price tickets I was hoping for much better. I appreciate the weather didn't help and with hindsight the performance didn't reward those that took the trouble, however the revenue the club must've lost by slashing the price, will probably put them off taking risks on such promotions in the future.

I think the weather was a big factor. That heavy rain throughout the morning, with more correctly forecast for the match period, put a lot of casuals off.
I thought just short of 7,000 was pretty respectable.

I agree - I would expexct that from the club's perspective, the promotion will be considered a failure; to justify half price tickets, I guess they needed to be hitting the 8k+ mark.

Looked sp down the sides, I think the stated figure was correct. Disappointing crowd though.

On the way to the game I thought hmm! (I always do that first) hmm! weather not good enough for sitting in the garden etc. not bad enough to put folk off going to the game. I was dissapointed then at the attendance. Wasn't that rain cold for June though? Or was that the chill of watching us get demolished?
