| I have now been to Cardiff & Edinburgh for the Magic Weekend and got to say that Cardiff as a venue beats Edinburgh everytime.
They are few problems with Edinburgh:
1. The location. There is nothing around the ground and you have to walk over a mile from the nearest railway station and there is nothing around the ground that is suitable for families. The Millennium Stadium was yards away from loads of pubs and restuarants.
2. It's freezing. Murrayfield must be in it's own micro climate as it was at least 10 degrees colder inside the ground - especially the West Stand! It's just about manageable for 1 game, but when you are sitting for eight hours to watch 4 games its impossible. There is nowhere around to get warm and when you have kids with you that is something that is needed.
3. The atmosphere. There is something special about closing the roof at Cardiff, it just added to the atmosphere (and also made it warmer).
My vote would be to return to Cardiff. It don't think we will go next year if the MW remains in Edinburgh.

| I think the main problem is the amount of empty seats! They need to choose a venue that is considerably smaller than either of those two.

| Hopefully the RFL will see sense and drop this concept. Makes no sense whatsoever when the main Scottish paper didn't even cover it on Sunday!

| Villa Park or Hillsborough, these stadiums will be nearer to capacity, won't cheapen the Wembley experience and is more in the direction SL should be trying to crack.

Swillsborough is only 40k and a dump, villa park can also only hold a few extra at 43k. St James Park (52k) would be my choice, has the capacity, is in the city centre and there's a good potential for a number of the locals to come along. It's also going to be used for the 2015 World Cup (wrong code I know) so it's not just for football.

| Back to Cardiff & back to the Derbies & close the top tier for me,Theres nothing better than taking my family & watching all those games together with all the other Rugby fans & having a pint or two with them, that for me is what the Magic Weekend is all about.

Got to agree with you there mate, Cardiff was better than the last 2 at Murrafield, fetched in more fans and an overall better atmosphere. Also, the derby games are alot better than chosen games, due to the fact the fans, for example Wakefield and Castleford, get behind their teams alot more to outsing their rivals!
So personally, i think they should move it back to Cardiff.
