I do think we have been unlucky this season because at the start we had a very very good squad best we have had in ages. But no excuses tonight the basics were not even there in attack . Obst just so greedy its un true, I actually thought Jeffries did ok today when he had something to work off i.e. Brough earlier in the year thats when he looked great now he is struggling. Moore can't offer anymore outstanding. Then I look at our winger Blanch gone so far backwards it is untrue hes lost 5 yard of pace his positional sense down the pan and misses one on one tackles Morton any day of the week for me at the moment. George will be a good player but I do think he is not fast its a false thinking that he is fast. Ferguson he had a overlap about 5 times in the match but he cannot pass a ball hes a average second rower at best he has passed the ball once in three years this is worrying. Cooke will do well for us with a good scrum half and a organised side he is not fit enough at the moment to do anything out of the ordinary. Murphy 1st name on team sheet. Bibb does not want it should not be here. JD I will not slate him he has been the best value for money signing in recent times. A scrum half to organise and a decent prop i do think we will be on the front foot again. But tonight was shocking kear made some errors first 20mins latu our best player at HOOKER second half he reverts him to a second rower - mmmmmmm what the hell??? I still have faith if Ted dips into the market i.e. a scrum half maybe from melbourne seize on the crisis over there. We need something and quick else this season will be . We have gone to Hull, have dominated the game and with a bit more composure and confidence could have won at a canter.
Composure and Confidence.We have had it ripped out of us these past couple of months, JD alluded to that in his interview tonight. There was plenty of positives there tonight as well as the negatives. It's about a team finding that confidence as a team,and you can see they are digging in for each other and that will do for me. There was not one player who did not give their all for each other tonight.We need a piece of luck to come along, it will be our turn again soon and a lot sooner if they continue to work for each other. It was always going to be an hard call knitting the squad together this season with all the changes we made close season.Then you prepare for 3 months and suddenly you have half your spine removed. It takes time to recover from Major Surgery and that's what we have had.
Take a look at the table is that Leeds still below us, did not Harlequins travel to Wigan tonight and win. The same Harlequins that held Saints to six points the week previous to us in the Cup. It will be quite interesting to here the comments on here if the Crusaders have a decent performance against the Giants on Sunday,I think they will.

I have a chest infection on anti biotics was in two minds whether to go last night, went to support the team, willing them to win , disappointed we are defo lacking that spark, that creativity , that man with a brain cell to read the game, set up others etc...would that be a scrum half ?

To be fair to us,when we have Long,Tickle ,Fitzgibbon,Calderwood ,Yeaman,Berrigan,Radford all missing,and O`Meley playing with a broken rib, we are going to struggle a bit.

, Morrison, Hendo (arguably best fwd this year), Blaymire, Probably now Millard (My prediction is rest of season, looked ACL to me), (Tronc, Brough,Newton never to return)
plus we have to play with the handicap of Paul Cooke and our captain, as well as Kyle Bibb, think yourselves lucky lol
