A proper legend, if Yorkshire was a country rather than a county, Neil would have been knighted years ago. I can't think of anybody else within the district who deserves this honour more than him.

Congratulations to a real legend. This city should make more of its local heroes. The lack of civic pride is one reason why Trinity struggle on with crowds of 5K in a city with a population of approximately 80K.
I know the statue is due to be erected at the new ground but it would be great, as somebody else mentioned, if a cast could be made and placed at the new Trinity Walk development for all visitors to see.

Yeah 322,000 live in the Wakey District (340,000 probably now.) I always thought a statue should be outside the ground but thinking about it a well designed statue in the City centre might capture the public imagination.
Also noticed on wiki heroin usage up 3,361% in Wakey, maybe the influential Neil Fox should stand for MP and tackle issues in the area!
