Quote: Jason "I spoke to a bloke in town to day who is a long time Wakefield fan. He is very knowledgeable and I value his opinion. He has seen some good and some dross over the years. He was quite sure in saying he thought Sunday's performance was the best he has seen a Trinity side play. Now that's a big call.
On the Man of the Match thread on this forum someone has posted that Danny Brough's performance was the "best from a Trinity halfback in 20 years". Now I am not rubbishing these two comments at all but it has set me thinking was this the best performance ever. I think the side we saw in a Trinity shirt on Sun playing at that level would have beaten any Trinity side I have watched since I was a lad in the late 70's.

He may well be right and its all down to opinions, trouble is memories fade.
For me the best performance was at Headingley V Saints in the semi a few years back
but like i said memories can play tricks.
Most enjoyable game at Hull in the play offs.
