Bags to the future company have offered a deal to Squadbuilder to purchase bagged items.


Good quality clean cloths - adult, children and baby clothing
Bed linen - sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers ( not pillows or mattresses )
Curtains
Soft toys
Shoes, belts, hand bags, hats ( shoes to be tied or banded together )

All bagged and dropped off at the club shop, first collection Wed 10th March 9am.

More details to follow but we need to act quickly to raise funds.

As Al says - we need to act fast on this.

The other Phil has got a good deal with the company and we can raise some decent money - if we can get enough gear to the club in time - before the 10th March.

With half-term coming up - what a great time to have a good old 'clear-out'!

Great scheme this, just put all you unwanted clean clothes etc in a bin liner and drop it off with David in the club shop. Why not have a word with your neighbours, family, friends and collect their unwanted clothes and take them down to the shop as well. The more the better. Get the message out there. Lets work, with the help of Squadbuilder funding, towards signing another eight local young players on full time contracts at the end of this season.

my wife has just had a clear out of her stuff and the kids..it was going to school but will now be diverted. when can we start to drop stuff off and can all the stuff be in the same bag or do they need to be seperated.

Same bag is ok. Shoes need to be banded or tied together, Drop them of anytime before Wed 10th March. Ask for David in the shop.

Would suggest that match day may not be the best time as the shop is normally full, any other time should be ok

as most work through the day why not open for an evening and get volunteers to come help for an hour or so to get them moved, I'll come and lump stuff about for you

I have filled 3 bags already and not even started clearing out shoe cupboard full of soccer boots etc that no longer fit anyone here. Its half time for many of you so ideal opportunity to have a good clear out and help raise some cash.

We all know Leeds Rhinos fans who were born and bred in Wakefield and in still live in Wakey and for some reason have always supported Leeds when they win. There must be a chance that these fans no longer need their Leeds tops, tracksuits etc and they can be put into the Bags for the Future collection, as their team has now lost two matches on the bounce and as a result these fans will no longer go and watch. Their loss loss could be our gain.

Please get the message out to friends and family to get all their unwanted clothes bagged up and taken to the club shop.

Bump, just think every bag you take down takes us one step nearer to beating Leeds again.

Got 2 black bags full of virtualy brand new baby clothes and some older kids stuff to drop off at the club shop this week. Im working on filling another bag full of the hubbys stuff as he has more clothes than i do....
