Good result for Hunslet. It looked like we were playing a lot of youngsters to see how they went (from the team sheet). It may have been a useful exercise. If we played badly, it will give us just the shake up we need before next week. Not too bothered either way.

That was poor fayre for £12.

Even allowing for the kids there was nothing at all - with the exception of Paul Johnson - to take from the game, apart from knowing the kids have learned a hard and painful lesson in this being a mans game.

Poor skill levels across the park for us - even senior players.

Total waste of time, thought that johnson played ok, jd battled, bib looked ordinary and he should have shone at this level, poor vfm

Paul and David ran the show and if the youngsters have learned anything from them its been worthwhile for them, cold miserable day for the fans but like TRB says, glad its out of the way.

not the warm up I would expected the most exciting part of the day was checking half time raffle ticket was two off the winning number,

the March bros looked to have control to the Hunslet team good luck to them they still like to mix it

Worst £12 i have ever spent IMHO I feel I cant sit down after paying that!

On a positive note though if I ever see Bibb playing for our first team again I think hell will have frozen over.

Disappointing game on the field. Off the field it was good to see so many of the first team there to support, the free pie was appreciated, the bar had a good atmosphere and the Hunslet hardcore fans were very amusing. Good luck to them for the rest of the season and hope they can increase their support to help pay for all their new players.

JD - looked fit enough, but poor game!
Johnson - Quality in all departments!

Otherwise - plenty of first team squad members - and not one of them shone IMO.

Disappointing rather than shocking. It was always a gamble that they would struggle physically, but we struggled even with those 4 in the pack!!!
