| Very pricey and will more then likely put off the casual supporter, but as has been pointed out it's still £18 for pre-purchased tickets and a massive saving if a season ticket is purchased before October.

| Have other clubs announced their prices yet??
What makes you think that won't be the price across the board?

Which is what we need after the attendances this season. Sadly, I think we may see another drop next season at £20 a pop.

Try asking the millionares at the whinos,or,pie eaters,or better still the rip off GIANTS. That should be a rough guide.

excuse my mathematical ignorance! Isn't that more than 10%, at a time when people are taking pay cuts, redundancies etc.
I appreciate we need to make money, but I think a lot more people could be priced out this season on top of a 13.3% drop last year!!

It is an encouragement to those who may think about buying a season ticket.
To increase the value in the season ticket you either have to reduce the price of the season ticket OR increase the gate price. The result either way is an increase in the differential between the 2.
As stated elsewhere in the thread, you can avoid the increase simply by buying a ticket in advance. It costs no more if you buy from the shop and, hopefully, it will encourage more away supporters to buy in advance rather than deciding on the day.
It's a toughy, and the headlines will be grabbed by the £20 header, but there's no need for anyone to lose out at all - after all, we've got used to buying tickets for other away games such as the Goatfarm!

| Will have to work out if it's worth while getting a season ticket when I see the work pattern when I start my new job, if it's not then when it comes around to the game the £20 will be a bit of a put off to me as there are travel costs etc on top of that.

But you don't have to pay £20 adam. Just buy the next games ticket when you come to each game - then it's still £18.00
Besides which - does £2 really make that much difference, other than psychologically?
