| What do folk think was the main attraction to the great crowd yesterday?
I for one feel £18 is a little high to get into our ground. Would it be worth dropping the price to say £12-14 and get more people through the turnstyles? Once there in we can gain revenue through the bar and other refreshments / merchandise.
Whatever the main attraction was, it goes to show that people of Wakefield will turn out if the price is right!
If it was Diversity make them resident dancers with the Dolls!

| I think it was a combination of both but given that kids can get in for £10 or less anyway and that the place was crawling with them I think it was Diversity was the main attraction. The Catalans match had an offer of £11 when pre-purchasing a ticket accompanied by season ticket holder and that drew crowd of 4800.

| Reduced price up to one hour before kick off. Full price after that. Get them in the ground early, and let them spend their cash! Win-win!

You would have to pay them alot to make them dance there every 2 weeks, besides they have other gigs to do and other things to do throughout there time, they would not be able to dedicate themselves to one thing like this.
For instance, They have Wembley dates on tuesday and have to be diverse with the things they do
I know the guys personally, and they did enjoy it at the game yesterday, and said they would love to do it again.

| I think it was a combination of the £10 entry but also the fantastic Diversity appearing. £18 is alot of money to any one these days and i did hear alot of people saying they would deffo come back to watch the rugby if the price was right. Yesterday was just fantastic if you ask me, lots of people giving the team support and some great entertainment for us at half time.

If we got the names and contact details of those who took advantage of the £10 offer, it'd would be the perfect opportunity to get some questionnaires together and find out what they liked about the day, ideal ticket price, and what would get them back to another game.

| In terms of revenue opening more bars/having more pumps/bar staff would surely pay for itself and more.
I occassionally have 1 or 2 but the line to the bars recently have been massive and I dont want to miss the game so put it off. Must put others off too.
Dont want to promote drinking but it seems like easy money at them prices to me.

| £18 to get into the new stadium maybe
£18 to get into Belle Vue I pay it but it’s over the top and for my money one of the main reasons for our poor attendances this season
Match day program £3.00 and not the best most charge £2.50
The club needs to look at season ticket deals for next season NEW and CURRENT ticket holders

on the other hand, 3 quid is thereabouts the price of a pint. 3 quid extra isn't that much, once a fortnight, 13 times a year. And if it does make the difference, a season ticket equates to less than 15 per match.
We've been through this topic over and over, there are arguments both ways but ultimately the club do what they do to set a balance to maximise returns - and the amount arrived at is broadly what most other clubs charge (I appreciate the relatd argument that our facilities aren't quite up to scratch, but we are trying to redeem that). If they knock it down, they would have to up the gate to a point that would make it worthwhile, so I can only assume they're not confident it would do that.

| i think its what you compare it with
night out up town for 18 quid no
however i think some form of family discount would be good say parent and one child for 20 quid?
or a family of 4 30 quid?
again the boring economist in me says next year we try these types of discounts at the 3 low following games cats celts and london and also long term to the new ground look at getting some heavily discounted busses from various points in wakey, give arriva some free ads for 10 busses a week?
but then again i said that in a post a while back and someone made a crayon related remark which i have forgotten about and moved on.

you raise a good point
but £18 to stand in the rain at Belle Vue £15 to sit in a grat stadium at Wigan
Not easy we all want to see the likes of Newton Brough etc at Wakey drop the price and we maybe lose our better players due to reduced income
