Hello, im wondering if anyone could help me.

My best friend passed away yesterday morning in afghanistan.
We are Cas fans but just go to home matches, and im wondering if anyone could let me know if wakefield are planning on doing a minutes silence today? Im sure there will be one at the Tiger's next week but if Wakefield are doing one, close friend and family would like to be there.
His name is due to be released tommorow in the media.

i would imagine that if you got in touch with either Club then they would be the best bet for making something like that happen.

Sad loss for the District

I was only thinking this morning with it being a derby and James backhouse coming from the District and being a Cas fan whether there would be a tribute to him now it looks like we could have lost two young lads.

Very sad news indeed. My thoughs are with his friends and family.

A true hero and it shows what a debt of gratitude we owe to all our armed forces who are fighting for all our freedom and safety.

Puts today's game in perspective and makes you realise how unimportant it really is.

Salute all our heros.

im sure there will be something done next week i know something is planned for tommy backhouse,evrybody in the community has supported the backhouses superbly well and they will do the same for your friend and his family i have no doubt.

yeah i heard from a friend yesterday night my thoughts are with his family knew the lad sad loss to the whole area and such tragic we have lost 2 off our are own in such a short space of time
