As MP is on the way out, could this be of renewed interest to us?
A good quality Aus winger, tipped to join us earlier this year, says at the bottom f the article that we offered 200,000 Aus Dollars a year,
Could be a like-for-like swap with MP? i know a few didn't click with him but i honestly think the situation with MP was unfortunate for all concerned and didn't fail because of a lack of effort from both club and player.
Just wanted to throw this lads name in the ring, a good move i fancy!

Would be really annoyed if we signed this guy. No need for another high profile (presumably high wage) winger - and especially seing they are an import. You would have hoped we would have learned our lesson by now about signing big name wingers, they are simply not required for us.
Spend any money on another quality back rower (if Snitch is going), or a quality stand off if not.

Agreed on the SO. but who?
If the 200,000 Aus Dollars is correct (99,554.79 GBP) then put that up for Myler, could be worth a go, its not set in stone he's bound for wire or wigan. Brough and Myler would be top draw! |

Slightly off-topic here, but with Diego Maradona being linked heavily with the Portsmouth managerial position, is it likely he would be granted a work permit given that he has an arrest sheet/conviction sheet as long his his arm? As we have seen over the past year, some top quality RL internationals have been denied work permits for minor offences such as speeding fines etc...
Will it be a case of one rule for super duper football, and one for other sports? |

no need for another winger IMO, aslong as we keep hold of Blanch it will give Murphy and George can battle to win a first team spot and cover from grix if required. Everyone wanted murphy in the team and now is a big chance to stake a claim in the few games left.
