I thought it was an absolute disgrace that none of the directors phoned me personally to publicise this gala. And if they cannot be bothered to send a car round to pick me up for it, there is no way they should expect me to attend. Etc.

Boo. Preferential treatment. It is no wonder our club is in such financial strife if this is how they do things. I guess there were only three players there as we have sold the rest to Cas. Come to think of it, we probably sold the rest of the stalls to them as well. Either that, or Leeds cherry picked the best stalls for their own fete.

I think it is about time some fans got together and arranged an independent supporters gala association. We could call it WISGA. If we leave it to the club next year's gala will only have stalls such as 'guess Solomona's weight', 'Can you go three rounds in the ring with Terry - no holds barred' and 'pin the tail on Jeffries'.

It was poor but maybe it reflects the attendance at the gala that so few things were there.

Was there from opening til 11.30 and no sign of a player. Seems they did arrive though.
