Very sad news. He was a fantastic player last season and will be missed this season. Hope he makes a full recovery.

It seems a bit harsh to talk about a player needing to be sold now he’s injured and off contract at the end of the season.

Although if he’s sold he’ll probably get a better paid contract from his new club benefitting him personally and Trinity can then re-invest into the squad.

Kershaw and Taufua should be more than capable on the wings.

He has a contract for a start which has to be maintained.

Terrible news for him personally and the squad.

I would doubt we will see him in a Trinity shirt again now, although this may cause him issues in regards his potential options for next year unless he already has something signed.

In regards the squad it is more unwanted pressure on already limited resources, the only slight comfort is it is an area where we probably have the most depth.

I guess it comes down to now a simple choice between Lineham or Hall.

For me I would like to see Hall get another crack in the centre, hopefully the "rest" will have done his motivation some good with Taufa moving back to the wing.

Gutted that we've lost the lad for the rest of the season but, being a glass half full man, maybe this will scare others off and help us retain his services going forward.

Hopefully we'll be able to retain him for 2024 when he's back to fitness. It may be that possible suitors want to see how he goes in 2024 once recovered then sign him for 2025.

Feel for him, just shows the ups and downs doesn't it, after what he did last season, let's hope it's not the last we see of him in a Trin shirt.

Gutted for Murphy, hopefully he’ll come back just as strong. TJ is an example that it can be done, he’s flying this season. He’ll be back fit by the end of the year so if thats the last we see of him here i wish him well.

Gutted for us also. He was our X factor, the one player we had with the genuine pace that scared the opposition. His contributions won us a couple if games alone last year and we are weaker without him. Survival just got tougher.

He would only be an x factor though if he actually got some service?! So far his involvement has been kick returns & picking the ball up at dummy half, I think he's received 2 passes in 3 games! I don't think anyone so far playing on the wing has had 1 running chance?
