| Big lads mate:
All players make mistakes that’s why tries are scored, coaches spell players and play to their strengths, I think he’s getting better every game and is a handful for the opposition, he was strong last night as were all the forwards
You don’t say, well I never! I was responding to someone who said he was error free and yes he’s doing OK which I also said earlier but IMO the jury is still out. What’s so difficult about that for others to comprehend

| I will make this comparison which I don’t think is too unfair.
Isaac Shaw and Faatili are the same age I believe.
With the best will in the world I want a homegrown prop like Shaw to succeed but Faatilli is better player in pretty much every area and has a higher ceiling.
Talking of Shaw, is he injured again? The lad seems to pick up an unreal amount of injuries.

Youd think if he wasn’t injured he’d be playing reserves and getting game time. He must be.

| Faatili is a quality young prop and should be signed on a longer deal definitely…
Think it’s Nikotemo with the jury out…

| Those overseas places are valuable so although I like Faatili and would like to see him progress, it depends who else is on Mills's radar.
The biggest thing for both Faatili and Seth is that they are both young and could develop with us, so for me, any replacement would have to be really good quality. I'd quite like to keep the pack we have really.

I agree as young players can certainly grow into better players. I like the young and hungry set of forwards we are building. Seth looked good in pre season but he’s a lot to prove at SL level but with Vagana playing well that leaves a fight for that other second row spot. Griffin has fit in better than I expected to be honest.

Totally agree with this. Only Storton for me would walk straight back into a SR position because his form was absolutely outstanding. Croft has been really good in my opinion, but would give way to a returning Storton with Vagana taking the other spot at SR. Nikotemo had a really unfortunate Scaphoid fracture, which for such a small bone is a fairly lengthy lay off. He has a right job on his hands (pardon the pun) to get back into the team. He would either have to be absolutely outstanding to force himself back into the team or take advantage of someone else’s injury situation in my opinion.

Injuries will happen, Stornton is out for 4 months, Vagana has had a few injuries, Griffin has just returned from one. Nikotemo will get his chance. Competition is no bad thing, and allows us to bring back players when they're ready rather than rushing them back because the options are poor.

| Faatili get's better with every game and I would like to see his contract extended.Think he will fast become a fans favourite with his 'get stuck in' approach.Vagana oozes class, which obviously runs in the family, and looks as though he is set to be a top player.I think, when Nikotemo signed up, the club were touting him as being of a slightly higher grade than the other overseas signings and a lot was expected of him.Hope that's the case when he returns. Re the mention of Shaw,it's a strange one for me.All the time he's been with the club he's been totally off my radar.I don't really have a clue how good he is and the bit I've seen of him he's been just 'ok'
