Goulding in John out plus a forward

I wouldn't read too much into the exact words used. You'll only end up underwhelmed.

John had is good games just ashame he had alot of bad games but is still young, I think Bobbie Goulding JR will be a precaution just incase anything happens to Smith or Sykes.

Aren't Smith, Sykes & Wildie all due to be off contract at the end of 2013. If so, Goulding could well be a backup if anything goes wrong or we end up losing them

I don't think he had many bad games. Its just when he was playing in the earlier part of the season the pack were very much second best against most opposition. His three cut out passes for Cockayne against the Farts showed what he is capable of. Still if he's not going to figure in Agar's plans for next season his non-fed spot should be better utilised.

For what its worth my money is on Murphy.

To be honest, I think the Murphy rumur came from me.
I just mentioned something on one of the rumour pages that he doesn't seem to get many games and I'd be happy if we looked at getting him back.
Just an observation based on nothing really. It may have been mentioned before but it was picked up by a few as discussion then mentioned as proper rumour.

If it was me, I still say it is a good shout but equally unlikely if we are the only ones who thought of it?!?!

Goulding jr not talking to Wakey till Saturday, whether that puts him out of the equation regarding this signing we'll find out tomorrow.

Looking at his choice of words, I'd say it's not too dissimilar to what was said before Mathers was announced. Therefore I'd say an existing player contract extension. Has Danny Kirmond got 1 or 2 years left?
