The way you have been playing ,that figure is shamefull.
Your playing well and deserve better than that.
The ground excuse cannot be an argument when your putting the performance in.

If we knew why I am sure we'd of tried to resolve. Hopefully we keep the consistent performances up and with the weather picking up new fans and old returning ones come down and watch us.
Widnes didn't bring many either but completely understandable being a Friday night game especially with the problems with the motorways that day.

They looked more than was announced Widnes brought a couple of hundred if that but that's no excuse I was hoping for over 5k last night but there was only just over 3k for our match against Widnes last season so we've put a thou on. The stadium saga has had a massive negative effect on a lot of fans but keep on performing and get some decent stadium news and the crowds will look after themselves. Noticed a lot more of a buzz about the club around the city the last few weeks things are looking a lot better. In RL there's only Wigan Leeds and Hull FC that pull decent crowds anyway. Our average attendances will be higher this season than last.

I don't think we can underestimate the effect that playing at belle vue has on crowd numbers.
Some people will go watch Wakey play in a cesspit, for them the condition and suitability of belle vue is incidental, but if the participating fan base is to grow, the ground and surrounding "complex" has to offer more than just wins on the field.

I go to watch the game, but as an occasion/event it's terrible. I can understand why some of my friends choose not to come to games when the best regards ground has to offer is a poor view, soggy chips, dry burgers, and a cold cup of tea. The ground plays a huge part in why we have low crowd numbers

I don't eat at grounds because it's mostly pre processed cardboard derivative... I don't drink at the grounds because ... well I'm usually driving and I don't drink alcohol when I'm driving.

I actually think Belle Vue is a great venue to watch rugby ... there are some great vantage points and you are close to the action... I used to love watching midweek A team games.... mostly from high up behind the posts.

I will be sad as sad can be when Belle Vue closes its doors for the last time the place has held a special place in my life!

I hope to get one last chance to visit the old girl when I am in Wakey for a few days in June!

We've had 10k at BV as recently as 2013. It was as much as a craphole then as it is now. Let's face it Trinity just ain't that popular in the city to regularly draw a decent crowd. Good performances/results will naturally help improve crowds but ultimately as a club we don't do much to entice latent or new support

We might as well not exist beyond the 4k or so who do bother going to games.

I really detest some Cas fans and I don't care for anything they have to say. I now await the Cas apologists to wade in.

Can everyone else please stop discussing other things on this forum and try and clarify why this crowd is lower than BigBoff expects. Please do not raise the stadium as an excuse again. That is no longer allowed.
