How many times can a player make blatant high shots without getting more than a gentle word.

Trinity were magnificent from 1 -17.
Yes, our kicking game needs plenty of work and trying to get repeat sets would be helpful.
However, for grit, determination and some excellent plays, especially in the first half and against the league leaders, that was superb.
The "professional foul" towards the end probably won us the game but, Saints were putting high shots in on every other set.

I thought Bill Tupou was magnificent today, the try bringing back memories of Neil Fox going over with two or three on his back, His 60 yard gallop just near the end was a real pressure reliever.

Given how many high shots Saints got pinged for I'm surprised Randall got binned for which I think was our first. I presumed it was for a professional foul pretty much preventing the match winner. Still I thought Hewer did well. Penalised what was needed but didn't make the game about himself.

The Randall sending off was harsh. I was right in front of it and it looked like he wrapped across his shoulder and a belting tackle. The few I was with also thought it was a great tackle.

Couldn’t make the game today due to a poorly daughter but a mate of mine said Wakefield were the better team. I may give you stick so it’s only fair I take it. Well done today and enjoy your victory

Tupou's run out from our try line, when Grix had slipped on his harris, was reminiscent of the famous Korkidis charge at Hull.

I think we got it right today, weeks of “so close but yet so far” and finally got that final 20 sorted. Almost messed it up at the end but was very proud of the lads earlier!

CC confirmed it was broken prior to the Leeds game and suspected he would be out for 6-8 weeks.

That will do wonders for Hampshire's confidence.

He must have tweaked it in the Leeds game then, mebbe it was strapped for that and came apart during the game, could be that's what they were faffing about with during the stoppage.

Its not ideal to play with a strapped finger but Finn ain't in the team to poke holes in doughnuts.
I played with a dislocated thumb for a bit, couldn't tackle a daisy but if you're not in the engine room you can get by if you have something more important to offer......******* hurt all the time though.
