So there shouldn't be any pressure on him at all. Unless he isn't performing in other elements of his role?
If after a season Agar hasn't been able to mould together this squad then maybe the axe should fall. But as far as i can see, whether we like it or not the best candidate was appointed and has been given the right support to do the job. Success or failure is down to the individual and their support team and should be judged over a season not 5 games and i'm sure WTW fans will given him time just as with Kear'"

I hate to be negative when Andrew Glover has made such a commitment, but the buying of so many players before appointing a coach was nuts. The coach choice would not have been mine; living in Beverley and surrounded by Hull fans, I knew what they thought and so far it's all about what they said. If I was Mr Glover I would be looking at this and my patience would be getting a little thin; then again, could he not/ did he not have his say at the time? |

Whether you agree with it or not, by the time a coach was free and got appointed, what exactly would there have been to buy. We were obviously backed into a bit of a corner with how late it was when we got the nod to stay in SL, so if anything the only thing the club is guilty of is making sure we bought some decent players who were available and wanted to come and play for us, if we waited for the Coach to be signed up I'd hate to think of the quality of squad we'd have now. |

think comments on elston are a bit strong and apart from giving Agar a 3 year deal i think he has done a decent job overall

We certainly have some fickle support on here, I know the forum is for discussion and sharing ideas/thoughts but, what do people expect ?
Just have a look at where we werejust over 12 months ago, followed by the franchise decision which, with all the uncertainty, cost us some of our better players.
Get a grip and support the club and team.
True support is for the good times and bad times, not just cheering when we win. We all dream of Wakefield winning trophies, but apart from the Yorkshire Cup, we've had nothing for 50 years.
Things are on the up but, be patient.
