| I think you lack the necessary knowledge of Chissitt, he even confirms why he posts. His modus operandi is to question why a post is made whilst never giving one himself. I do not offer an opinion for last night’s debacle because I was not in attendance but he was happy to ask others to justify their post without ever giving one of his own until confronted with the truth.
I guess you are happy to allow those who troll on the forum but not those that question their limited logic. I suppose you didn’t like my post highlighting why Hampshire left and your failure to understand the context.
I will continue to point out his inaccuracies because they cannot be allowed without correction and believe me there are many usually defending the actions of de Pfeffel on the sin bin.

| Just watched the highlights.
Every try Cas scored was to the right of the posts or wide right. That right edge will really need to sort out their defence and quickly. We didn’t actually concede a single try on the left side.
I’m still fuming about yesterday.

| Chissitt you appear to know via your mysterious mate George all about me if quite a bit appears to come from your vivid imagination. I have had to correct you on a number of false statements you have made about me. It appears you also have the same problem when posting defence of de Pfeffel, which I feel need correcting the fact it makes you look stupid is a bonus but you can call it trolling. I am sure there are some on here who will confirm this to be correct.

Not said by me. Both are up to SL standard but not enough strength in depth at prop. I don’t know what the club can afford do you?

| From day one this season the only objective for my money was to ensure super league survival 11th place 10th at best but I struggled to see with the squad available and the woeful player recruitment and retention over the last 2-3 season who was going to finish below other than Toulouse and maybe Salford.
Trinity have a number of players who should have been offloaded a number of seasons ago.
Bill Tupou, Tinirau Arona, Marty Ashurst, in particular are all way past their best I am starting to wonder if Bill will ever play a decent run of games again.
Player recruitment has been appalling I struggle to see why the club needed Tom Lineham a good player 3-4 season ago came with baggage and it’s backfired with injury Liam Hood, Lee Gaskell are also complete mysteries to me simply awful signings for a club with limited finances.
Jai Whitebread dose not warrant an overseas quota spot a panic buy at best.
The pack is woefully out gunned by most clubs in the front row we have one out and out super league quality prop in David Fifita Eddie Battye gives 100% and is a quality championship player.
That said with 6 points from 8 games I would have taken that on the opening day of the season.
And if Super League survival is achieved this season with a decent crop of players coming through seasons to come could bring more optimism.
One last point Greg Eden once in our academy was he ever offered a contract if not why not he was always a stand out player in the Academy.

| Well just watched Hull FC play just as badly as us, get stitched up by the ref and also play a ball with no one ready and the opposition ran round and got possession. It was like reliving a nightmare.

Don’t get your point regarding players retention? Apart from Westerman who have we not retained?

The knock on the ref gave against the Hull player when the ball went backwards was a bad one especially when K R scored from the scrum

| As already mentioned by many on here, a bad night at the office. Fortunately for us theres 21 games to go to try and win. We all know its going to be an uphill struggle , buts its not as though this is the first time its happened to us in superleague. Every season we are written off and we`ve still avoided the drop. One day it will probably catch us up, but we`ve been in this league more seasons than the likes of Bradford Bulls and continuously longer than Cas and Shudds. So have a rant at the result but remember, this club as been punching well above its weight for the last 23 years.
Finally why have a forum if its only to have a personal spat with someone who is probably stood a few metres from you shouting for the same team.

| That's the problem though, the clubs not progressing.
The growth of the clubs been restricted and starved of investment at a level that would enable the club to develop.
Before people start on about survival, yes I agree in the early days MCs starvation policy was required, but we are now 8 seasons in.
CC always said money was very tight he then changed it not available, he like Poaching was starved of money and restricted.
Just need MC to bend his rules a little and have faith in the coach to spend any increase Wisley.

You are mixing up growth of club with build better team. They are not the same thing.
Doing the second before the first puts you where Bradford are.
Building the academy, building the stadium and building the corporate involvement have all moved forward as far as I can see.

| We’ve certainly damaged the short term cash flows with that performance, is it just my thinking or do we always seem to shoot ourselves in the foot when we get anywhere near a decent turnout ,if 5500 is a decent turnout for our so called derby game , then treat the newbies to what they’ve been missing . From a financial point of view it was like committing harakiri and really feel for the powers that be trying selling a product that is sub standard . We seem destined to skirt the lower end of super league attendances for quite a while going forwards and the impact that will bring on player retentions and future signings .

Think it was down to Chester wasting money on injury prone or past it players is the reason why we are were we are now.Think his last 3 signings to improve the team this season prove the point .

Change the chuffing record please.
There is nothing wrong with the club it’s the players who are under performing. They are more than good enough to beat Cas but decided to play like clowns.
