Shouldn't be as the new away end has 800 allocated tickets after that there in the well beneath the main standI think

We stood in "the Well" last time Wakey played over there.
Enjoyed the craic with the locals and it's definitely better than the Grimsby end

Having sold around 800 tickets already and with plenty of "walk ups", I think this is a slight under statement.

Not really a fan of the well as the standing bit is just too low down, so the dug outs block the view.

Good style in principal though, with the terracing, then hospitality behind, with them the Roger Millward stand above that.

I’ll stick my neck out and say I’m feeling pretty confident looking at the squads that we will have a healthy win.

It is the first game of the season though and anything can happen but whatever the result it likely won’t define either teams season.

I'm actually going to put a bet on us winning by 20 points, I really think we'll blow them out of the water providing our defence holds up.

Solid looking 19 just been released. If they play to their potential and link up well together then there should be no reason they can't turn over KR, possibly by a decent margin. That being said, it's the first game and it's away from home, it's hardly a "must win" game

They're all must win games, we won't win em all for sure but if we go into each game with your mentality we'll finish up with the also rans.

No they are not all must win games at all. You must always treat every game as winnable but they are not the same thing imo.

Apart from the fact that its likely to be just above freezing (but feel like -10), this should be a cracking game.
KR , having just been promoted and with masses of local support will be bouncing.
If we can weather their early enthusiasm and avoid injuries, we should be coming back to Wakey with our first 2 points.
We need the ref not to be swayed by the baying home crowd but, our pack looks way too good for theirs.
Tight discipline and patience and the game is there to be won.

I mostly agree with that. We are being far too reserved imo in our predictions. This stems from years of caution I guess but i see no reason we can’t come out and put a healthy score on.

No such thing as a must win game in round one!

There is quite literally only one "must win" game, and that is the last possible game which keeps us in Super League for the following season. Anything beyond that is not a "must win" game.

Do I think we have the squad to make the Top 4 - quite possibly.

Spot on. However on a positive note I'd say a Cup final is a must win game in its own way but that's it.

Its not a must win but its a should win. Don't think we need to edge our bets this season the squads good enough to pull it off.
It also depends how you look at things you could say a semi finals a must win to reach the final. You could also say the game v HKRs a must win to go into round 2 with a win under the belt and 2 points.
