| Quote: Luppylad "I havent lost or won anything cos there nothing to win or lose unless your saying i lose cos the players are fit when actually the fact they cant compete for 80 mins may suggest otherwise And unfit bodies get injured easier and put what ever spin on it you want these players are missing / missed games due to injury henece not been fit to play and not a case of not been selected..
And in another note im glad the likes of b walker and arundul gonna get a run out id play them with fully fit side
And vastman you fool you keep saying i love this and love chance to put down well you couldnt be more wrong you know nothing about me it pains me with the mess where in at the moment with all the losses and i certainly dont enjoy thats why i have season ticket subscribe to the lottery trinity tv and squadbuilder to try and do my bit to help the club out ya know who was one of the first to offer to the donnation/collection you did sure if i enjoy things been poor id offer to throw my hard earned money about'"
No everything with you has an agenda or a conspiracy, you were implicitly saying that we have some issue with injuries and by default picking at the coaching staff AGAIN. The truth is we have as yet suffered no major injuries and as yet no more than most other squads/ Two are forced absences due to HIA's, one is a suspension that you for some reason included as an injury. That leaves two short term injuries though I suspect they are rests. Three players started the season with minor injuries, one missed two games the others three, so a sarcastic WOW.
In other words, nothing to see here folks, unless of course, you are looking for it.

The truth is 99% of injuries in RL have no correlation to fitness levels whatsoever.

Correct.
Some injuries are not even sustained during training or playing. Players are ordinary people. fit yes but ordinary. Wear and tear, age you name it an injury can come from anywhere.
What he also forget is that with an identical backroom staff we went from 2016 to early 2019 with very few injuries, we were lucky then, we are not so lucky now. Short memories I'm afraid.

| It would be just like us to put on one of those backs against the wall performances, which wouldn't be the first time.
As we're not expected to win, and go into it with nothing to lose, I would think it would be Saints under pressure

'Injuries are alot to do with fitness"
Says who? This may be the case with normal folk but are you seriously suggesting any of our players are so unfit they fall into that category, really!
'tired bodies get hurt easier fatigue cause injuries'
So how can we be fatigued after 3 games? Even if it does play a part I have seen plenty a fresh player who isn't even nominally fatigued step on a pitch and be instantly injured.
Straw clutching or what.

I wonder if Leeds fans and Sky sports commentators think the same way as yourself, All we ever hear about Leeds, is the amount of injuries they have, by your reasoning Leeds players must be the most unfit players.

This is a tricky one for both player and coach. Players like Hampshire are keen to play, nobody can doubt that of this lad. So he will naturally downplay an injury, in a genuine way, not a cynical way, we've all done it, believed we are feeling better than we actually are.
For all the advances in modern medicine in the case of many injuries, the staff can only take the patients word.
I seriously doubt he was forced to play, though I'm sure some will suggest he was.
I suspect put his hand up and he did come back too soon, however, I have to admire that.

| Injuries are part and parcel of the game, I was forever breaking bones when I was a kid but hardly did anything when older, what worries me slightly is I think we’ve 8 over 30 and at this age it’s starts taking longer to recover, players are by no means finished but it gets harder to shake the clouts off. As for fitness it helps a lot but good conditioning doesn’t prepare you for falling awkward, head clashes or taking one on the back.

| What a bizarre thread. We barely scraped past Leeds who had 12 players out and you're waving the white flag?
You might lose, going away to back to back Champions is always a likely defeat, but I can't see any reason why it'll be a blowout. We're not up to speed yet and our attack in particular is very clunky.

| Never meant to imply hampshire was made to play. Was probably a case of him putting his hand up and wanting to play for the team thinking he was ready

I respect your opinion but at the moment we couldn’t score in a brothel

I miss the early days of Super League when we seem to always have a good record against Saints. It's one game against the top 4 that I always went to knowing we would give you a game. I don't think we've beat yourselves since 2017 at yours.
