He's made some recent mistakes. He is not the worst and has had some outstanding games this season.
If he needs a rest then so be it but you are way off mark with this. Have you been watching this year? |

 I agree with Cockayne to fullback as mentioned above if Mathers is rested for some reason. but I disagree with Les the goose about John. How dare you make the comments above about john? what makes you an expert about him? What qualification do you have? What level did you play if you played the game at all. Have you coached at high level? The answer will be NO NO NO to all.
I have coached him at representative level just below NRL & he was way better than what he is now. What I have known of him, he was a Halfback from when he was 7 until the NZ Warriors, then other coache's decided to play him at SO. He is not a Standoff. He will prove you back stabbers wrong.The Wildcats don't need negative people like you. Unless you have played Super league or NRL, then you can make comment. If you haven't, Shut the hell up. |

Rather inconsistent arent you passionate.
Ok for you to slag Mathers off, but no one else has the right to criticise a player?
If the qualification for participating on these forums was to have coached and played at NRL or Superleague level we would not have a forum.
Note it is entitled Fans Forum.
By the way I too think John has some ability.

Different sport,but Jose Mourinho never played pro football,but i reckon he knows a fair bit about players qualities.
