Two first teamers, albeit one constantly injured, for an academy/championship player? I know Trinity seem to get the sht end of the stick most of the time but I would expect a fee to be involved, at the very least for Murphy.

| If we did end up selling Murphy (a bright spark in an otherwise terrible season) I shall be rather peeved.
And yes I know we are skint etc etc but we should be keeping hold of players like young Murphy!

| Murphy won't go, good player but still young and not totally proven so I think he will be loyal for a few more years yet, like shenton was with cas, tried him on wing and then solidly proved himself as a centre so I wouldn't be worried

| A bit of news coming from the NRL is that PNG player Jesse Joe Parker- who was at Fev- is coming to Wakefield. Wayne Bennet (bigger than God in the NRL) rates him highly, he was recommended to St.George Illawarra by Wayne's brother , also a coach with some Kumul connection , Bob Bennett. Apparently tough as...
I thought Id got a scoop- until I emailed a fev fan who replied " old news, so what!".
The fact remains, he's a highly rated centre with the pain barrier typical in PNG - sky high.
All we need is another 14/15 players, a well off & passionate chairman in the Hadfield mould, a ground and a refreshed John Kear then....easy, we're almost there !
