I didn't see anything from Tanginoa at SR that he couldnt do as a prop.
Even at his rampaging best Pitts brings more as an all round second row.
I'd keep him a prop for now.

Of the three Wakey lads I thought Lyne came out top.
Westerman put in a good shift but didn't really stand out.
Tanganoa quite anonymous apart from that head shot.

As far as I can tell with some posters who have this obsession is that they are seeing what they want to see.

I thing Tanginoa plays the same roll every game but when he has a good game they choose to call him a SR and when he has an average game they claim he’s playing at prop.

With no scrums and very few specialist forwards these days most players play in multiple positions, not just in a season but during a game.

When Kelepi has a barnstormer it’s usually because the opposition s defence is poor as with most players.

I think Westerman was probably playing to plan. For us he does more ball handling but didn't really do that for England.
He took the ball in well but others can do that too.
If they want to use him they are better using all of him.

Thought lyne was excellent against a decent centre in Ricky Leutele, looked very comfortable in defence and looked a threat in attack. Westerman was used as a battering ram, completely different to how he’s been used for us, England’s loss in my opinion. Kelepi did some decent hard carries, nothing spectacular but he didn’t really need to against them. Peter mata'utia is fast becoming one of my favourite players to watch, he’s such a great player, his utility value is excellent. Think Shaun wane has a job on getting us to compete in the WC, some very strong nations now.

I thought reece was one of best and created the davis tey very well.but did anyone feel like me but every time tomkins got the ball on that side he seemed reluctant to pass to reece missing him out on more than one occasion like i daid the one time he did give it when he was been tackled reece created a try

Leeds called two games off due to covid but half their team was playing last night there should be an enquiry into it. Just abusing the covid situation cynically, funny they cancelled against the top two. But are all clear to play Salford

I noticed that too. Obviously Tomkins trying to assist fellow Catalans player Tom Davies. We had similar when Tom Johnstone made his debut for England. Percival never gave him a pass all game. Fortunately Jake Connor provided the balls for Toms three tries.

Lyne’s drive down the middle that put them in th back foot and quick play set the tone for Knowles try too.

Lyne > big yard gains and quick play > westerman good yard gain and quick play > knowles try with the all star line not able to get back and set.

Lyne did a lot of work in that match.

My thoughts exactly, it’s easy to manipulate this system even With so called testing protocols, although, I believe Leeds v Catalans has been rearranged.

How do the rules work if you had X number of players out due to covid and X number selected for the representative game.
It seems reasonable to request a postponement under these circumstances.

More worrying for Leeds is they have only managed 8 games so far (against our 12).

Not too worrying as we work on % , we have won more games than Leeds but because we have played more games, they are above us

As far as the game was concerned, I was bored senseless and the total lack of crowd and atmosphere as a result of the RFL/ Super League shambolic management of the game leaves me more than concerned that the game is now entering the black hole of oblivion. Just saying.

I wouldn’t go that far but it could have been so much better.

I’ve watched the game since on Trinity TV and we played better than I thought. It was just frustrating that we made our errors at vital moments under no real pressure. Coming after the Cas game where we did similar I think it left us all a bit flat, well it did me.

All the same a win is a win.

It feels like a chore watching SL these days. Take the Saints/Wire game the other week, absolutely mind numbing. Something needs to happen to freshen the game up. New teams on TV would be a start.

The pundits were saying what a great game it was .The problem is with the pundits is .They believe it's a good game because it's the top teams , but when it's the smaller clubs there not interested

The pundits and commentators make a very health living out of the sport, its in their own interest to spam it up.
Must admit the games definitely gone backwards.
