I think this is a great signing, I have always looked at him as a class player, his only down side is his discipline, he seems to give away a lot of penalties - If we can cut that out of his game he will be a great addition to the squad.

I've read the thread and that racial stereotyping thing remains unaddressed.

The French are not a race, they are people born in France, their ethnicity is irrelevant.
So, yeah you can have stereotyping, that's fair but you hellas can't casually drop a race grenade in there and then go on to describe how mild that "racial stereotyping" was and that no one was offended.
Well, that might be your opinion but there is nothing mild or unoffensive about race grenades.

I'm not sure what the equivalent term is for stereotyping a nationality.
I'll happily change the term if you can help me on that.

You wont be able to cut the penalties and petulance out of his game. They are too deeply ingrained now in my opinion.

Plus sometimes when he is irked by what he sees as a refereeing injustice or whatever is when he puts on that play that makes him stand out.
