What facts that can be 100% confirmed are in the public domain? I've only heard that he wants to leave and that somet has gone off subsequently but I never heard what. Is it a case that people are automatically assuming he's responsible because of the timing and the fact he's off to union, or have I missed something?

Irrespective we are in no position to be turning down the chance to have a player of his ability in a position we have been crying out for. He could be brilliant he could be a waste of time, but if we don't take a chance we will never know. And who else is out there?

IF Eastmond has signed for the rest of the season then he is the type of player who could make Kevin penny become a valuable asset to us. Penny is no good without decent service and a good kicking game. Yes he's dodgy in defence and probe to brain explosions but utilised in the right way he can do a job for us. With a good half back creating space for him and giving him decent kicks to chase he could get back to his early career form where he was scoring tries for fun.

I like any rumour that links us with a player who has attacking flair because as we saw today we have plenty of possession near the opponents line but we just can't get over and score.

If he has signed I hope he's come to play rather than sulk. Would've been useful today if his head was on RL.

I hope he is committed, if he comes and plays like he's had a kick up the behind then he will be a welcome addition.

However, if he comes like the jumped up little git that he was for Saints in his last 2 games for them, having a go at this team mates and what not, then he will be no good for us.

Yes I am starting to change my tune with regards to Eastmond coming. We could have carried on playing all day today and we wouldn't have scored.

Eastmond, if he has signed, won't necessarily win us games against Wigan and the like but would certainly give us a great chance of beating HKR, Catalan, Crusaders, Salford & so on.
