If you had actually read and understood the majority of posts on this thread you would see that people are concerned/annoyed about the selection of non English players for England not just Mr Chase who just happens to be the player most recently in this position. I would take the exact same view if Chase happened to play for Wakefield.

If he was that good he would be playing for New Zealand. The simple fact is that no Kiwi or Aussie will ever turn out for England unless they are not good enough to be selected for their own country so just as in SL we end up with the Aussie/Kiwi cast offs.

First nobody is posting anti-Cas literature and second, it will take more than just Rangi Chase if England are to win anything. Who's next Morrison, Carmont or Richards?

To be honest, chase might not even get in the side with how well widdop has done at the storm this year. He is an amazing player is chase, but obviously hes not going to get in kiwi squad with marshall at the helm. To be honest if he gets in the england side and plays, you think the aussies are gonna allow him to play the type of rugby he's been playing all season. It will be boys against men again with the few usuals that do this country proud eg Roby Graham Westwood Sinfield.

The thing is chase is virtually guaranteed to play scrum half for England i think as his form is better than DB and he has better skills than Lomax which is a shame. I dont think he should be in the squad.

I’m of an age where I actually remember beating the Aussies, with a team full of home grown players, to beat them with help from loopholes, would be a hollow victory to me.

My greatest concern is, by selecting foreigners, however gifted, is denying English lads getting their chance to pull on an England shirt.
