Got to laugh at you telling people to get real.
You are a prime example of someone who simply refuses to learn from history.
You cannot generally buy your way to success and on the rare occasions that works nobody has ever sustained it - see Bradford Bulls.
The only way to become a truly successful club is to build from the bottom up. Painstakingly putting systems and processes in place. This is made doubly difficult if you don’t have a pot of money. It’s agonisingly slow as all things especially young players take time.
You are making the classic error of confusing an underperforming team with the club. I know 100% as anyone with half a brain that the club is in the best shape it’s probably ever been,
However all the things that will allow the club to finance a better team are not truly on tap, most notably the East stand.
Get real. We cannot run until we’ve actually grown some legs and luckily that’s not far off.
I to an furious at the moment but with the players not the club. The club has bent over backwards to give thirty blokes a chance, some of them a third or fourth chance. These players in the last two weeks have simply not paid there debt. They are the ones at fault, not the club. I’m absolutely certain that when they were begging the club to sign them none mentioned that they would only play well for one in every three games.
We have at least 20 players who would fancy their chances to get another SL gig. Let’s not pursue this myth that our team is full of rejects because it isn’t. It’s full of underperformers at the moment who need to have a good hard look at themselves!
However if it bothers you that much please do the following.
1. Sell your house.
2. Cash in your pension.
3. Write a cheque for the full amount and post to Michael Carter care of Wakefield Trinity.
4. Stop working and work 60 hours a week for the club for free.
Once you’ve done this I look forward to a massive upturn in our infield performances.
Thanks
