You do know that the 4m will cost the council nothing too right? this is land to loan against, land the council aren't using, there's a reason why Cas came out in support straight away and not hold back a few days.

What if the Cas B.O.D. decide to share at Newmarket and the Directors sell Wheldon Road and ride off into the sunset, it would be a nice pay day / retirement fund.

1- Exactly, Cas would still get the 2 or 4 if Wakey go it alone because it doesn't cost the council anything, and they get top class facilities for the public in 2 of the 6 places they run.

2- Waystone/Cas joint ownership I believe, Waystone won't let it fail, and Cas certainly won't considering they just spent 175k a couple of weeks ago on architects, who in turn wouldn't design a stadium knowing it wouldn't happen.

All this is pointless arguing about until the announcement tomorrow. Nothing to get excited/sad about. Just makes me feel sick.

An architect will design anything you want as long as he is being paid, irrespective of whether it is built or not.

Not that it ever existed. It was all a smoke screen put up by WMDC so they could appear to be helping both clubs on the back of the damming Oct 2009 report into the provision of sporting and leisure facilities.

As a teacher I will encourage my union to be out in the street if the council can provide money for an ungrateful eastern ward but not look after citizens who are being sorely underrepresented.

Bitter much? Cas need these facilities, the council will help Cas get these facilities, like it's there DUTY to do so, and you cannot complain about such things.
