slipping up here stanley ranger 11s are at oulton tomoz 11-00 k.o.

I very rarely go on about amateur refs in kids games but today two decisions was very contentious, one was after a kick when our player grounded the ball behind our line to then having an oulton players touch it after and then classed as a score

and the other call was from a so called high tackle

by my lad,
we lost 16 -6 in the end but nothing between the two sides

Crigg under9's played against shaw cross today at the tetley stadium before the Dewsbury v Blackpool game . Absolutely hammered it down throughout the game but not many knock ons so well done to all the lads on both teams . It ended up 8-8 with crigg having a try disalowed right at the end ( ref was the shaw cross coaches son , so I'll say no more) which was harsh to say the least . Only had 10 players as well , really proud of every one of them today , their effort was fantastic .

never mind at least the kids enjoy it even if the parents get uptight

Stanley came unstuck at heworth today going down by 6 points . both teams played their hearts out and and they were rewarded with a special guest appearance from Mr Bean. Although i have calmed down now it will take a lot for this game to slip from the memory.

Best leave that one then by the sound of that !

cas panthers u9s came unstuck at eastmoor after a poor first half,the game finished 32-24 to eastmoor but in truth we were very poor and can have no complaints.

TBF the heworth guys tackled their way to a deserved victory and was worthy winners shame that IMHO a grown man should end up behaving like a big kid himself . (dont want to overstep the mark but) i think he will need an overdose of horlicks tonight to get any sleep.

Dissapointed with the ref and coach at Heworth...............Kids were great though, tackled well and deserved their victory.

stanley ranger under 11s plays dewsbury moor today at 11-30, sadly I will be missing it due to the early set off for the celtic game

Stanley 12's won 54 nil against Normanton, top win, and Stanley 13's won too !top weekend for Stanley rangers

stanley drew 18 a piece, sounded another close game

east leeds today for the under 8s

cas panthers u9s ended a two match losing run by beating heworth 18-36 over at york.the panthers were in top form scoring some superb team tries whilst scrambling well in defence to keep on top of heworth.

well done heworth turned Stanley over last week , this week the lads had a well deserved rest

Crigg under 9's played lock lane this morning in what I'm sure is the best performance so far from the lads that turned up . Crigg only had 8 players , lock lane 14 so they played 10 with 4 subs . The score ended up 40-18 to crigg - the result doesn't matter , it's just the effort the lads put in , in what was a scorcher . Every single one of them ran and tackled like their lives depended on it and my lad for one has been knackered all afternoon . From what turned out at 10 o' clock as a miserable morning - same faces who turn up whatever because they love the game & the rest who only come because their parents have an excuse to spend all day on the lash- to being as proud as you could possibly be by 11.30 . Sorry to waffle , but I hope all those lads feel proud of themselves tonight .
