| Quote Mike87="Mike87"Lauititi targeted Jason Walton who was abit suspect in his defensive game, you had 4 debutants we had 13 let's see how were both doing 6 weeks down the line when your lot start to fade and pick up injuries,
You keep saying how you SHOULD have won and how IF you did this and that this would of happened, well guess what for all the poor show in the second half of the match by us we still won the game, that's the most important thing, you could play 27 brilliant games where you should have won and don't and be relegated.'"
Gordon Bennett you make me cringe!
I've actually turned pink reading these posts.
Apologies to all decent Wakey fans I thought your lads were quality second half.

| I'm a Salford fan and personally thought mcshane played everyone off the park today he killed us at the play the ball with some top scoots but your players need the credit for getting the quick play the balls in, personally thought Salford had the better first half and wakey had the better second half, liked the look of that godinet guy too if like some of our fans are saying he won't be good yet cause he's had 4 sessions god help opposition teams when he settles in, don't think our pack smashed your pack either, just some big tackles going in from both sides, I don't think wakey have got anything to worry about and personally think you will make the top 8, I reckon you will sign A couple more players too and when you have sammut playing he can only improve you more, thought we were lucky to win the game after your performance in the second half and genuinely thought you would win in the end, salford looked to have no idea in the second half but tommy lee at stand off didn't help anyway rather than me going on I'd like to wish you all the best for the season as I have a soft spot for wakey
See you at your place

| Greetings from Down Under. Sounds like I missed a cracking opener to the season and a narrow defeat.
I see Child has been quoted, did he put in a good and fair performance?
Also, if Ali is claiming he put the ball down, did it look that way on the terrace?
I had a feeling we might be able to turn over Salford (not just saying that now after the result) as I know we can surprise a few when we are written off.
I'm looking forward to seeing the highlights to this match.

He did try to get hands to it but he couldn't so he booted it dead, split second decision fom him with Salford players thundering up behind him.
He did the right thing at the right time.

| Quote Mike87="Mike87"Today was the best time for anyone to play us as expected we've not quite gelled YET. But plus points in the game our forwards smashed yours into oblivion in the first and even at stages in the second half, Hock especially showed his power, does anyone know how Collis is by the way?
What undid us was having 4 forwards on the bench instead of a replacement halfback, we totally lost it when Chase went off as tommy Lee is no stand off. Well I'm sure mr Noble will learn from his mistakes.
Good luck for the rest of the season.'"
Just a question.
Which of the two coaches do you think will be happiest.
Noble, with his squad of "superstars" who just scraped 2 points against one of the relegation favourites.
Or, Agar, with a team put together at the last minute, on a shoestring budget, that kicked your s all over the park.
The only reason your forwards looked dominant in the first 40, was the one sided penalty count (plus some poor kicking on our part)
For the amount of Koucash that you have parted with, this should have been no contest.
Enjoy your season, if you can.
It was a decent game though for all your new fans

Ignoring the 'gelling' nonsense which Slugger has completely debunked; your forwards smashed ours into oblivion?! Not sure what game you were at, but it wasn't the same one as me! I'll give you that Hock looked impressive, but don't get used to it - his first ban is just around the corner.
If that's the Salford team that many people are predicting to trouble the top 4 clubs, I'm afraid I just don't see it.

| Chase get injured trying to trip someone? That's what I heard but obviously cannot comment. Thought tripping was a thing of the past TBH,
If that is the case, it's a real shame......

He missed a tackle on Peter Fox and tripped him from the ground; it looked blatantly deliberate to me, but Salford fans will argue that it was an accident. He was hurt in the process and left the field, never to return.
It's a familiar pattern - when he all but decapitated Ropati, Cas fans defended him whilst everyone else roundly condemned him; likewise Hardaker. He's a player who demands a special kind of one-eyed devotion!

| I wouldn't have defended him if he was tripping people - easy to say now I know but, that's the single most bottle-less act on a rugby field.
If you hurt your leg trying to trip then, tough titties
