| Lets get some reality here
The club have sold at least 2500 season tickets (all paid for) by the 1st October, this is a real first for the club in its culture change.
There is no reason why we will not have 5000 members by the start of the season, I am pretty sure the marketing area will be well aware of the advantages with young kids getting them hooked on rwb buying shirts bringing an adult etc. This is a longer term issue but none the less very important.
For me the bottom line is this we sold around 600 adult passes for this season I bought mine before admin and I am very grateful the club honoured this. With concessions and kids it appears we had about 1500 season ticket holders, this has been well and truly smashed.
There is cash in the club for signings not the tax man.
There is 1873 again bringing in cash flow weekly and whilst some on here dont the odds its a lottery with a purpose to benefit OUR club nothing else.
I am very happy with the direction we are going, its business like and responsive to fans ideas.
Oh and against all odds we are competing against the best next year hopefully we will be much more competative.

| I'm as thick as BigAl et al when it comes to misunderstanding the initial offer. All I know now is that the target has been reached and any tickets bought before 4pm today will be £100.
From a personal viewpoint, it's been a tricky one. I usually buy one for my dad (concession) and for neices and nephew @£20, but as I'm on the other side of the world for all but the last 2 or 3 home games of season I usually pay on the gate. At £100 I was considering buying one for myself, £100 now versus £60 when I get back; when I'll be not working and skint.
I've put off buying one up to now because I'm skint and if it did go up £175 I'd probably I'd have probably paid the extra on a guilt trip of not wanting to ask for the £100 back.
Now the target has been met, the decision is clear; I'll be going down today to buy them all. Hope it's a long queue.
P.S. I'll have to wait until after pay day to join the Supporters' Trust and the 1873 lottery.

| Putting aside my own views on the wording of the offer and the ability to claim the extra £75 (why admit that I was wrong when I can never be proven to be ), I think the club has done a sterling job in shifting 2,500 tickets in the short space of time. I am encouraged by their desire to get out there and promote the club, and if that enthusiasm in maintained, the future is a lot brighter than it has been for the last few years. Just think, it is only a few months since the bosses were begging for our money just to get themselves out of a hole. Now, the new bosses are engaging with the fans and pitching our growth as something the fans are doing with the club.
Onwards and upwards.

| I've not had a season ticket for a number of years now, more or less since my little 'un was born in 2002. I got out of the habit of going, had different priorities in my life, and to cut a long story short RL slipped off the radar.
I think what the club has done is absolutely fantastic - I still keep up-to-date with what is happening at Trin, but not enough to actually make a commitment to go to games.
Perhaps I'm the sort of person the club is trying to get onboard. I used to be a loyal supporter, have had season tickets throughout the 90's, and even on one occasion managed to do a full season home and away. But I can't give that sort of time or commitment anymore. But with the club offering a season ticket for just £100 it now doesn't matter to me if I miss a few games - I am still going to get value for money by having a season ticket and the club gets £100 of my hard earned whether I attend or not. I've even bought one for my daughter, who I know won't go to many games at all, but for 20 quid it's worth having one just in case she does want to take in the odd game or two.
And who knows, if I catch the Trin "bug" again this may well be the beginning of a new commitment to the club for me, which would not have happened had Trin not made this fantastic gesture to the people of wakefield.
I'm happy that I've bought a season ticket and I'm already looking forward to the new season!

| With the 2500 number being hit and the squad taking shape nicely the feel good factor is back at Trinity (for me anyway). Well done all.

| Its a good effort but we shouldn't be happy with our lot, we should keep pushing hard all the way to xmas. A few tasty signings and the figures could look very good indeed next year.

Agree totally. It is just nice that things are looking up after things being so bleak both on and off the pitch this season. Hopefully 4000 tickets minimum will be achieved. Happy days.

| First of all well done. This offer has got people to commit to a season ticket who wouldnt have for all sorts of reasons before. What I would like to see no Monday is a slight price increase to say 120 pounds for adults thus still making buying a ticket excellent value but still paying respect to the fans who took the original offer up and not making it look like a sham.

Absolutely - that's called 'continuous improvement' and it's always a good thing to strive for.

| When I bought my ticket for £100 I knew that I would be unable to attend all the games. I purchased my ticket as a loyal supporter with what I thought was an understanding that if 2500 of the hardcore supporters bought their tickets before the deadline the supporters who for what ever reason were undecided or had never purchased a ticket before would be entitled to the £100 offer after the deadline. I bought my ticket thinking that I was contributing to getting as many fans at Belle Vue as possible. I find it distasteful that some posters on here seem more interested in what other people pay for their ticket than what they have paid for theirs. The £100 offer should be extended to the opening weekend of the season. Because I bought my ticket early I do not believe that I should have any more benefits than the supporters who are unable or reluctant due to financial considerations to buy early. The majority of us who bought at £100 could afford £175 its the others who could not who would benefit from this offer and now if the ticket prices are increased they will be alienated. If Glover decides to increase the price i for one will feel cheated.

I will not feel cheated, But all of us who have got season tickets should get together as one voice and say keep the tickets at £100 pound and two split payments until two weeks before kick off, this is clearly working, so lets not change it, giving fans that have already got tickets a chance to talk to other fans to come on board, and giving new fans a fantastic deal, hoping they will be back next season...
