I’m pretty sure I have read somewhere in the mountains of documents submitted by both parties in this matter that, a training pitch is a requirement in the planning applications. I could be mistaken, but when I get tired of reading the constant bickering rather than debate on this thread (Whatever happened to New Stadium update thread) I try to find the training pitch article.

I don't think anyone is arguing with you.
No one's happy with how it's gone with YC but the difference is that some are trying to move forward with the possible rather than wasting time on the impossible.

It is what it is . We have to move on and make the best of what we have. We couldn’t possibly have dragged this on and on and risk not meeting required SL standards.
If it comes to fruition it will certainly be better than paying rent to a football club.

No not yet seen anything that specifically says training pitch. The 4G pitch reference on the planning application and financial business plan show

I’m an old cynic when it comes to things like this, it’s a bit like Boris saying no one will have to sell their home to pay for social care. Until you die of course. The club are obligated to provide a 4G playing surface, but will that actually be the pitch at BV, or installed somewhere else for community use, and trinity players training. Common sense should tell me the cost of a 4G pitch would be too much not to use it as the BV playing surface, but who knows.

There is no training pitch as in a spectate pitch to the main pitch, I don’t know how many times it’s been explained on here but it’s a lot.

It’s not me having it my way it’s been public for a year.

The BV pitch will be ripped and replaced by a 4G pitch once the building work is complete. We will play and train on that pitch all year round weather permitting.

Yes but I’m telling you there isn’t a training pitch. There is no land to build one or any need.

The confusion seems to be that people see 4G and think of training pitch as per Dewsbury. Ours will be a 4G pitch that we both play and train on. That’s why the east stand will have a full sized gym and warm up room.

There is no room at BV to even fit a five a side pitch.

There may be future plans to obtain a training facility in the future though I doubt it. However you wouldn’t need planning consent for a pitch.

At the moment we pay to train at Dewsbury, an expense we don’t need.

For the umpteenth time I will find the link to the planning portal and you can read it yourself. If you can find a training pitch in the dozens of documents your a better man than me. I’ll do it in the morning.

I always had doubts about the location at Newmarket, and staying at Belle Vue was always my preferred option. I think much more accessible for the majority of home supporters, I just hope it comes off.
